What Is a Sponge Bed Topper?
A bed topper (mattress topper or mattress pad) is an extra layer laid on top of an existing mattress to improve comfort. It spreads body weight more evenly, relieves pressure at the back and shoulders and protects the mattress, extending its life. It is light and easy to put on or take off.
